Faer, left behind in Aerii’s haste, gave a bewildered look to the poor boy who had delivered the news. He couldn’t begin to imagine what would make Aerii run out like that, unless it was about Sekki…. But it couldn’t be about Sekki, could it? Was there something his friend had kept from him?

Faer had been most helpful in aiding Aerii with recovering himself from the depression he’d sunken into over the past few days. After they had gotten to Faer’s favorite place to eat, he snapped back to his normal self, letting Aerii forgive himself and apologize.

The cry came from outside…in an all-too familiar voice. The blond-haired boy sitting inside sighed to himself, realizing that he couldn’t pretend to not be there. Irritably he grabbed his headphones from his bed and stood up, wishing that he could be left alone just this once. But, perhaps, someone’s company would help him recover from the depression that had settled upon him so heavily.
